Hand painted textured dot mandala magnet

These hand painted fridge magnets are a cute way to add some Art decor to your fridge or dish washer in the kitchen, the filing cabinets in your office or washer and dryer in your laundry room.

I started off by sanding and painting 2.5 inch wood circles with black gesso then added the hand painted dot mandala design using acrylic paint. Liquid pearls paint was then added in the mandala and around the whole edge to give texture and a cool 3d effect. I then sealed them using satin varnish to help protect from scratching and UV discoloration. A one inch strong magnet was attached to the backs.

These magnets are strong enough to hold heavy greeting cards to any metal surface.
