"Beyond the Veil" 18inch with Chiastolite stone
"Beyond the Veil"
This design was inspired by the stunning Rose Windows in Gothic Architecture while the color palette was inspired by wood and Emperor moths. It's hand painted on a 18 inch, 1/2 inch thick wood planchette using acrylic paint. A Chiastolite stone was the perfect stone to add to this piece, with it's cross like marking and wood colors. Tiny mirror tiles were also added throughout the design to add some sparkle.
Finished with a satin brush on varnish to protect from scuffing and UV discoloration. A XL sawtooth hanger was attached to the back for easy and secure hanging. Signature, name of piece and date of completion is written on the back.
This piece is an original and one of a kind.
